Is the vent and the length of the vent count as the enclosure as well. the specs say vented box 1-1.8Ft3. Does that include the vent as well??? or I dont count that... |

Some companies just throw it all together and don't tell ya sh!t beyond that leaving the person to figure out what is the net volume and displacements involved for the spec's. Never assume anything unless it's stated or noted per what your trying to determine for an enclosure when it comes to designing it. |

Bronze Member Username: Juancarlos707El Centro, CA Imperial Post Number: 27 Registered: Nov-07 | they didnt tell me if its net or gross. All I got was a piece of paper that said this. PORTED: VB(ft3)=2.00 <is that net or gross, what is net or gross? Fb(Hz)=32 Slot Port With=3(in) Slot Port Hieght=14(in) Port Lenght=48(in) |
Bronze Member Username: Juancarlos707El Centro, CA Imperial Post Number: 28 Registered: Nov-07 | that was the recommended enclosure. But then I went to the website and it said this diffrently: 1-1.8Ft3 Fo 30-36Hz |
Silver Member Username: Phil_salisburyPost Number: 474 Registered: Sep-06 | Well, there ya have it. Net Volume can be anywhere from 1 to 1.8 cu.ft. plus your displacements ( sub, port, port walls, bracing ) |
