Why does BEV require a new BIN but DN users can input new keys... Total BS... come on DN go down... I have my fingers crossed. It's the only way BEV will get attention
because they changed the lock again (ecm)over the weekend... dn on it's way the lock smith sitting in parking lot making keys for the new lock which is waiting to be installed...
Swati: You can use your current setup by swinging the Dish 28 degrees. If you are currently pointing to BEV at 81/91W, by swinging further west by 28 degrees, you will be pointing to 110/119W. When you do the swing you will find that after a 19 degree swing you will get signal - continue further till you hit signal again after a full 28 degree swing. There is also a little bit of vertical tilt adjustment needed. LNB is that thing about 4-6" long and 2-3" wide pointing towards the dish. You will not need to change it. On the other hand, if you are looking for Indian/international channels, then it is best not to disturb the current setup but add a second 18-20" dish on the roof and point to 61.5 W (for the East coast) or 148W (for the West coast) and process the output of this and your old Dish through a 4 to 1 DisEqC switch. A third approach would be to put up a new 30-33" Dish and a Universal 119/118.7 LNB that will take in English and International programming. This is a bit more expensive, but likely to be more satisfactory in the long run.
thank you guys, moved it to the azimuth 237, got a signal, but still no channels, maybe i have the box set up wrong, but thanks for the info, was a great help
