Hey, i couldnt find a place to put this, so if it isnt th eplace, dont flame me
i am going ot buy a TV soon, and i was wondering when is the best (cheapest) time to buy. are the prices gonna be the same for a couple of months, or will they drop
also i am thinking of buying a 42inch. now with 42inch does it matter if i get the 720p or 1080p. i heard that it makes no difference, but i want your real opinion, b/c ill eb buying a PS3 with it
- The best time to buy is 40 days after the super bowl but certainly keep an open eye - Best place to compare prices will be www.ecost.com
Best choice for Broadcast - Digital Cable tripple package - Verizon tripple package with choice of DTV satellite or FIOS - Dishnet new HD MPEG-4 1080i service - Always ask your provider for OTA HD channels FREE (may just pay for antenna)
Competition changes month by month But these are my choices as of 2008
Because your PS3 can play Blu ray disks the best bet is to get a 1080P display that can play frames at 24 per sec, or native film match.
When to buy is a loaded question. For me , its when 10 lumen per watt technology becomes commercially available for plasmas, but I doubt that means squat to you, and it may be meaningless in reality for you as well, meaning of no value.
There is a bunch of shelf clearing right now for the 2008 model series for plasmas and LCDs. You should start seeing deals on 64 series Sharp LCDs for instance right about now.
