Right now I have a Bev dish with 1 lnb. I have it set up to receive 91. If Bev is down for quite a while I usually end up going out and moving the dish over to 119. when the fix comes out I change it back to 91.
With so many EMCs going on its getting annoying changing it back and forth. I was wondering how hard it is to set up an 24x18 Elliptical dish with 3 lnb to receive 91,110,119.
I not even supposed to have any dish because of condo rules and would rather not have 2 dishes up but I guess if I have to I will.
The only satellites I know I can get are BEV and DN. I didnt think I couldn't get any others. I guess they are the foreign ones. I don't think I'd want them anyways. Is there really any good programming on them?
I was considering getting a motor, but I was reading they aren't very good in cold weather and well I live in Canada.. it tends to get cold up here. Also, I was thinking if the motor points to 91 I wouldn't be able to see the guide for 119 until I move the motor again. Just sounds like a pain. I like to channel surf and Id want to know whats on and not have to keep moving it and then downloading the guide.
Actually I just realized a motor is not an option anyways. I'm sharing my dish with my nextdoor neighbor. I guess they wouldn't appreciate me moving it on them when they are watching a show. lol
So I guess if you say it's really hard to set up an elliptical, I should just buy another bev dish with 2 lnbs. That would be the easiest way I think and it will only cost me $50. What kind of switch should I use? Is the ones that came with the ViewSat receivers ok?
TESTER on all your post you keep saying that you are using Invacom (QTH-031) and Scan in 2,500channels. How can that be possible? This Invacom (QTH-031) does not have Circular Polarization only Linear. Local Oscillator Frequency LOW (9.75 GHz) High (10.6 GHz)
Announcing the World's First CP/LP Quad Polar LNBF Invacom QPH-031 Combined Circular and Linear Quad Polar LNBF
Hi all Ariza autoroll fix came out Ariza700,750,800,700s Hi guys here you go I hope you all enjoy a great weekend! Here you go have fun! And Happy testing. Posted here first only on www.FTATALK.Com now i can see PPV Thank MINGO><OGNIM
YES the Invacom that is marked C L C L is used for both, Circular and linear Polarization. C stands for Circular and L stands for Linear. The LNB, the large one that is marked with the letters C L C L on the left side is a Invacom Q(P)H-031 the small one on the bottom right is a Invacom Q(T)H-031 only used for Linear Polarization
Tester, I am glad that you have seen you mistake. But it was not only just a typo. If you have the Invacom QPH-031 then why in all your post you show a picture of the QTH -031? I would say there is a big difference between the 2
