I am stumped. Got new bin, and when I load it, receiver does not want to install it. Upload goes to 100% and then is simply stuck. Usually display would flash as "dOUn." while dowloading, and then say "inSt.", then reboot, and go back to 00:00 time.
Now, it simply hangs at 100% on computer monitor, and stb display does not flash during upload, but randomly displays one of the 4 letters in word down.
I have tried another NULL cable, I have tried loading factory bin, I have tried factory reset x3, I have tried file from another source alltogether (to eliminate possibility it was corrup), and I have also eliminated the possibility that stb is a clone - it is as real as XTREMES get.
Figured it out. Laptop does not bring the port back online after going to power saver mode (sleep, hybernate, etc). Reboot fixes it, after suspend/hybernate/sleep the same problem again, and power cycle fixes it once again.
