I just moved into my new room and am watching a new TV and want to know how to get my stereo to play the TV sound. I used to just take a A/V output cable and plug it into the TV's headphone jack but this TV doesn't have one. Is there another way I can get it to work?
It does, so I should just plug the red and white plugs into the stereo and then into my TV? Will a cord with red white and yellow plugs on each end work or do I need a only audio cord?
Yes, just connect those to the receiver. You can use a triple cord, just leave the video plug disconnected. There may be an option for fixed or variable audio in the TV menus. Fixed will usually give better audio quality, but then the level can't be controlled with the TV remote.
I know what your problem is see you have these two nice little Sony speakers in your closest and you have to sell them to me and then Adam when I come over to your house I'll hook up your tv and stuff so it works.
