Ma its best to make your own channel list anyway you will not get your local's if you get a channel list for someone anyway.........what sat's are trying to get?
Hichar, make for sure your receiver is looking at the correct satallite for the channel you are watching if for an example you are trying to watch a channel on 110 but your receiver is looking at 119 that is what the channel will say....
ma all you need is the loader and new bin. or is this A NEW RECIEVER FOR YOU... If so you need the factory boot file also. Look in the VS file area at totalfta everything should be there.

From that I assumed you had already installed the new bin tonight. Have you not?
Have you, went to total, downloaded the correct bin for your receiver, connected you receiver to the computer, used the loader 2 to install the bin file you downloaded from total in the receiver, then connected the receiver back to the tv and antenna?
I am kinda confused as to what you have and have not done so far tonight. Please explain.
im sorry for the confusion but all i did was downloading the bin to my pc in a new file on my desktop called vs2000 and in that file i got loader 2 and pgm file? so am i ready to hook u my pc to my reciever?
Connect a NULL MODEM cable (pins 2&3 cross) between the ViewSat and your PC. NO POWER to ViewSat yet.
Open "Loader2
Click "Open Files"
Browse to directory holding "Latest Program Bin.PGM", Click on it to "OPEN"
Click PC-->STB on your computer screen; then Power "ON" your ViewSat electric power (ON/OFF switch Platinum; plug in Black). You should see the File loading properly.
WARNING: DO NOT POWER VIEWSAT OFF UNTIL TOLD!
After file transfer is completed, the Front Panel will display: "inst" for 15 seconds while the software is being installed "DONE" for 10 seconds while the ViewSat does housekeeping chores next, the ViewSat automatically reboots.
The display will read "on" and when the reboot is complete, "0000?
You may NOW turn "OFF" the ViewSat and connect it to your TV and satellite dish cable
To load, sat file, channel list or Opkey. Follow the above procedure clicking on each file. The loader will put them in the proper place.
thanks for the great explaintion but for the last step to load, sat file, channel list or Opkey they will be loaded automatically to my pc or where do i get them from? or the loader will show it up for me?
You will scan each sat you can receive that way your receiver does NOT have channels you cant get on it and you will get the spot beamed channles that are only avalible were you live.

try to use loader 1. its just suggestion.. some people have hard time loading it.. its just a thought. you can get loader 1 for viewsatusa.com click on the tab where it says support. you should see loader 1. I don't never use loader2. I for some reason always have problem with loader 2.
Hi guyz, i bought an RS 233 null modem cable but it seems not to work, i wanna know if anybody what type of null modem should i look for and where to buy it online. it is for a pansat 2700A original. and also i need instructions to download the latest bin fiel 225 to the box. thank you for your help
guys i tried loader 1 and i came up with the same problem as loader 2 of intialzation error and i tried to reboot the pc and same prob so what can i do to load the bin?
i got the port changed and no more error however i got another prob when the loading begins it stay at 0% and the status changes from frame type 255: 54..... to resending ZRQINT.... AND Back to frame type and back to resending why is that and do i have to do please help me
A Null cable is a Null cable no matter were you buy it. I suspect you have the correct cable and need some help using it. Please start a new thread and someone will help you.

I suspect that your computer and receiver are NOT communicating yet..This is getting close to the end of what I can do remotely like this. I would...umm mabee reinstall the loader and try again? I am realy thinking your computer has some problems other than this. Is your computer ok? been running slower latly? how old is it?
