Alright, I finally got one of my videos edited to my liking to post on Youtube and when I go to upload it it says "invalid file format". I couldn't find anywhere that it asks you what format you want.

Well, I'm using Windows Movie Maker to edit them. I found it under My Videos and tried it. How do I find out which format this video is?

You are probably trying to upload your actual project file. open up your project with movie maker then go to step 3 and save to your computer and it should save with .wmv and you can then upload that file to youtube.

Depends on how long the actual video is...and how fast your computer is. If the vid is short and your computer is decently fast then its probably stuck.

Try right clicking the file being created and hit properties..check the size, then wait a few and check again, if it gets bigger and bigger then its working, if its still the same size after a while then its stuck.
