I got Panset 2700A and tried to load the latest bin X-87BL_071122_B75_224_api, using 27.02 loader for the first time but no luck with it. The download process never progressed from 0%.
Please please help me with any suggestions.

I have the original Pansat not a cloned one
The port at the back of receiver says rs 232, so looks like rs-232 will work for 2700A. Is it true.

Shaz: You need:
Loader 27.02
Null cable
Current 224 BIN for real Pansat 2700
Instructions.
All the files and instructions from any one of the following:-
http://www.future-fta.info
http://www.al7bar*tk

Files come zipped. They should be unzipped.

In March 2007, there was major change in the BOOT file and somebody has already changed the Boot file from B70 to B75. The First BIN to work with that BOOT file was version 200. sinc then there have been many changes and th elatest is version 224.
ALL THESE REQUIRE BOOT B75 AND 27.02 LOADER.

On its own, your receiver should show "b 7 5" dancing horizontally when you switch it on, and then eventually resting on "ON". If it does not, the B75 boot has not been installed properly and you will have to reinstall B75.
The kit for it is
X-87BL_070311_B75_200_api.zip (535.6 KB,).
The conversion from B70 boot to B75 boot gave a lot of headaches to a lot of people. You can read the forums of that time at al7bar*tk.

Once you see the b75 installation is valid, then you should be able to install the latest BIN 224.
Usually you get the loader working, select the BIN and after turning receiver on, when you see "b" appear, click on write BIN.

If you do not know what cable you have, you should order a M/F null adaptor. Then you unknown cable is one type on its own and the other type when connected in series with the adaptor.

Thanks Nalin, when I turn on the receiver I can see b 75 dancing horizontally, so I think all I need is the correct cable to install 224 BIN for real Pansat 2700.
Thanks...

- Go to Start - Control Panel - System - Hardware

- Go to Device Manager and Ports and see what Com your USB cable is set to.

- The Advance button will allow you to change the port. Change it to 1, 2, 3 or 4.

- Also be sure to change the Baud (Bits per second) to 115200.

#4. When using a loader from your specific reciever, make sure the COM port selected on the loader corresponds to the com port you changed in the previous step.

#5. Load your file.

Just make sure you click the back switch and write bin at the same time.

shaz the cable u need is null modem rs232.
1- turn off reciever from rear switch
2- have loader ready with bin file selected.
3- turn switch on wait for first dash light then hit download.this may take a few tries, but be patient.

I made the changes in USB cable as u suggested with the right cable and finally it worked 4 me.
I was using the same cable without chages u suggested in the USB cable and was unsuccessful, So I think the main culprit was the USB settings.
Thanks again
