New member Username: LeapoldstotchPost Number: 1 Registered: Nov-07 | im getting a 12" type r i wanna get the alpine m450 amp, # 220W x 1 @ 4 ohms # 400W x 1 @ 2 ohms # 600W x 1 Brigded 4 ohms 600w rms will be plenty to power the 500rms type r right? and it is possible to bridge a mono amp? its only got 1 channel.. also my box is going to be # Dimensions (W x H x D): 30" x 13.5" x 16" ported tuned to 32 hertz it says its only 2 cu ft. but if my math is right its 3.75? and i heard this would be the best possible box since its pretty large for a single 12" type r. |

You're getting 3.75, because you're calculating the space the box will take up. You need to subtract 1.5 from each dimension, to get the internal volume. Don't forget to take into account sub displacement and port displacement. |
