Since you seem to be the only one willing to help me out here any ideas why my pansat 3500s keeps going to bad or scrambled channel? I have to change the channel,go back to what I was watching,power on and off and than its all right. I just dl the latest bin which got the channels back but now I have this problem. Any idea??? Also Im missing a couple channels ,is there an older bin that I neeed or something?
Chicky here is the lates file for pansat 3500...u should do a factory reset like delete all channels then load this newest bin...after that....connect to ur TV and fix all the settings in the menu antenna setup so that u can get ready to do a blind scan...i think that will help try it thats what i usually do.. I just loaded the 339 bin yesterday. The problem I had before was the wire i bought was a straight trough and not a null. But I loaded the bin yesterday and got the channel back they just wont stayy on without messing with em. I dont know what settings I should have though. When I first got this I bought it off some dude that set it all up but I dont talk to him anymore.
you are right, Im sorry,I just meant within the las couple days. It seems like everyone got aggravated after the last time and a few even just told me to subscribe to dishnet and give up. Im sorry though ,It wasnt everyone im sure.

u afre just guessing , and screwing poeple. there is no need in doping factory reset .
I can NEVER recommend doping a factory reset, but doing a factory reset helps sometimes, doesnt hurt anything... chicky, u need to know what type of lnb u have. Dishpro? Set it up in the lnb type.
Dane Id really appreciate some help here but what are you talking about? The problem seem to be with sat echo 7. The tp freq keeps changing and wont allow me to save. I downloaded the factory bin and reloaded the 339 bin like I was told but Im still having the same problem.
i have standard for lnb. The signal is fine but then when I hit exit ,normally it says ok to save or exit to delete. But now it doesnt,it exits and the TP freq. changes and signal is lost. Any ideas?
yes but my husband said its not hooked up because the guy who installed it said it was no good so its just a regular 3 way. I have no idea what that means but....
a regular splitter will not work. It has to be a disecq switch. It kinda combines the sats to one cable. The tp doesnt need to be saved. If u have two wires comming from ur dish, going in to a splitter, then one cable out it wont work
As with all bins, some people will have problems. Try and get the same bin from another site. I use ftaprosupport.c0m. Try flashing your receiver with the latest factory bin first. Much easier to load bins using the sd card for the 3500, you should get one in the future. Also what sat are you using? It is possible to bypass a diseqc switch and run a straight cable from the dish to your receiver but can use only 1 satellite, for now. All diseqc switches are basically the same and they do tend to crap out.

dantetn thanx . i responded. i can connect but only if i cancel my firwall. so my connection is not secure anyone can have access to it . and my computer is on risk then .

CHICKY i have a 3500sd and it works great.every now and then it gives me scrambled channel.lets start from the beginning. check in antenna setup and tell me your settings.what dish type do you have.if any switches.
Ok I have a dish 500, As far as a switch goes ,no but they hooked it up with a little thing that 2 wires go into and it makes it so that there is one to my reciever. It has worked since like March so, that must be okay for now. Under settings I have standard for lnb type ,the next line is 11250, I have off for the disecq. Do you need to know anything else. And I really do appreciate this,thank you again.
chicky it needs to be a correct diseqc switch.switches are known for blowing.so if you are going to order them oder more than one.the picture above was from ebay.

also if u are using 2 sat or more it's must to use switch like rtap offered you . miss idiot or faggg. in your f *ucking configuration you need to assign number of the port to each sat correspoinding to the way you hooked your f *ucking sats to the switch . if u dont understand none of these you dont need to be in fta but go do some sewing is better . you may end up a designer instead of fta tester.
