Friends, I was just wondering if you can help me uploading the BIN. I have loader version 1.02 and the bin version 1.57(1).bin I am following the instruction : 4) Run the LoaderV1.02 /LoaderV1.04 on your PC. Select the right COM port where you connected your null modem cable usually COM1, then select <download>,press <open> and select the bin file, then click <start>, upgrade will begin. 5) After finishing, the LED will display "-End" I think the step # 4 gets started but the for the step # 5 the LED never says END even after 15 mins. Not sure What I am doing wrong but any help will be grealty appreciated Thx
what is the status of the captiveworks when you press download on your computer? the display should say "boot". to do so, flip the switch from the back to turn off...hold the power button from the front...switch the power back on from the back....hold till boot is displayed (usually 1 or 2 seconds)....then press download on computer
Null Modem Cable Latest bin for CW600S Premium model. Loader v1.05 or Loader v1.06 (I ALWAYS USE LOADER 1.05) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --
1) Turn the CW off with the switch in the rear.
2) Hold the front power button down and turn the box back on. "boot" should appear on the front LED.
3) Open Loader 1.05, click the manila_folder and select the latest bin. Select Download S/W. Click START update should begin.
4) DON'T TOUCH THE BOX UNTIL UPDATE IS COMPLETE. "-End" will appear on the LED.
5) Turn the CW off and back on with the rear power switch.
6) Factory default the CW (menu>installation>factory default), set the antenna settings, autoscan (red button) . Enable the patch (F1 then press 000).Wait for box to autoroll.
