is there any way that i can save my channels so that i dont have to rescan sats when i load a new bin?

when i loaded the last bin i didnt do a factory reset and i had to rescan

New To FTA, get Channel Master for free from ShaprC and use it to read and save your channel list onto your computer. After loading the new bin, just write your channels back onto your receiver.

i cannot get CM to read.....say process complete with errors...error communicate....and i know the cable is good.....have used it to load bins

Are you reading it as a Pansat 2700 channel list as you're supposed to?

That's strange. I've never had that problem. The only thing I can think of is: reboot everything, comp and receiver, and try again.

If that does not work, I hope someone with a better answer jumps in here.
