well i got a new car lol 91, honda accord. i put in 2 6x9 pioneers and they sound pretty nice on my kenwood deck. I look in the trunk to find an original punch 45 hd my pioneers are set for 40 rms, u think hookin up the "supposed 22.5 rms" punch 45 would give them alot more kick? they are getting i think 22 rms from the deck.
yea but its a punch 45 man.. its classic for putting out more like 70 rms. why woudl people say this amp is so good when installing it woudlnt even make a difference
how much would it go for? speakers and a 2 channel amp? thats well over 100 bucks. this thing is 10 years old lol. plus i only have rear speakers. my front 2 dont work and i will fix them when i install this amp, or an amp
im pretty sure im going 2. its all ready in my car and everything its just not hooked up right b/c the person who owned it before wired some wrong or something but i tested it and it works fine. everyone says the punch 45 was bad so i dont see how it coudln't help a set of speakers that are running on deck alone lol
hey, those were good amps. they are underrated. i can almost gaurantee that amp puts out double or even triple the actual output of the head unit per channel. and it is alot cleaner power.
i would personally use it. for those reasons and canaan's reason...
i dont like to use the term SQ, but my brothers truck is packed FULL of sound quality. his reciever and all of the speakers are kinda top notch for sound reproduction. the sounds of watching a dvd in there are magic.
but all of this is powered by old school rockford power that he found in mint condition on ebay...
