How to select anik F3 in pansat 2700A

Silver Member Username: SitsatPost Number: 117 Registered: Jun-06 | Unless you have just installed a repoint kit 118, what you have on your superdish are lnbs 110, 119 and 121. If you have the 118 installed recently by yourself or by Dishnetwork then you simply scan echo 7 to get both 119 and 118.74 channels so you don't need anik f3...as long as you are scanning everything between 107500 and 11250. If you only want to scan all international channels on Anik/F3, simply add that satellite and make sure you use frequency 10750 and make sure you use the correct port setting, which should be exactly as Echo7(119) Hope this info is helpful. I'm also a student  If I didn't explain it well or made a mistake someone who knows better hopefully will correct me. |

Gold Member Username: Crazy_greekPost Number: 1322 Registered: Jul-06 |  DMD You will need to add this Bird into you Receiver.Their TPs are not the same If both Birds were listed in you Receiver they could have been scanned together. TP #1 for Anik F3 is 11715 TP #1 for EchoStar 7 is 12224 To add Anik F3 Antenna Setup Edit TP/Satellite.....Select NEW at the bottom of Satellite name list. Now type this Anik F3/Ku now move right under the small letter u is ok,Next you will see this. Down Frequency.......... Symbol Rate....... Polarity........ Go here to lyngsat you will find all the TPs you will need to list for Anik F3 http://www.l yngsat.com/anikf3.html BTW Sit Sat not a bad job for a Rookie |
