USB Flash Stick

my USB flash stick is not working for me to upload a new bin. will any flash stick work? i was gonna go to radioshack and buy one, but wanted to make sure it would work first...any help is appreciated...thanks

i am new with the USB......but how do i go about formatting it? do i do it with the receiver or my pc?

put in recever with the main power switch off. turn on stb with switch and it will format the usb. code and channel folder.

take usb to computer find the bin file and drag it to the usb code folder

bring usb back to stb and update the stb

I just tried doing that with my old flashstick but it did not work.....but i probably need a new flashstick anyway......will try the new one later....i do have to go to format usb in the menu options do i?

receiver will format the usb

have the main power off, insert usb , turn on with the switch, stb will reboot and format the usb
