My DISH is pointed to 121W, there is a new Circular LNB with higher frequency out there. My concern is, If I use new LNB and turn the dish to 118W still i am going to catch channels from 121w or not? or is there any trick to set the dish to catch from 118 to 121?
You need one LNB for each dish. Yes there are dishes and brackets available where u can mount mutiple LNBs on one dish to get nearby satellites. Mounting 3 is pretty common and u can go upto 4/5 easily with new brackets.
Echo 9 is a linear sat with linear transmission. Anik f3 is circular transmission, but with the special cb200 or cb2ooa circular lnb with 10750 output u can only use it on circular sats, and anik f3.
Your linear lnb from echo 9 won't work on anik f3, or vise versa.
circular sats need a deferential of 9 degrees apart, linear is min of 3 dgrees apart, attach the cb2ooa beside the echo 9 lnb and scan it should work, but i cannot confirm it ,as i've not tryed those two sats combined, but theroritically it's a go. I have echo 3,5,7,8/10,nimiq 1/3 and 2 ,dtv101 .
my linear dishes are disconnected at moment, use them for true fta.
