I was thinkin the 35's cuz more cone area, but not sure if they can handle 1600 watts each |
Gold Member Username: Nyyfan13Fi SSD USA Post Number: 6689 Registered: Jul-06 | they can take 1600 a piece |
Gold Member Username: JkidderGunshine , State Flawda Post Number: 2377 Registered: Nov-05 | they can handle 2k a piece as long as ur not playin tones all day. 4 35's would def be louder |
Gold Member Username: JakeyplaysbassASU Post Number: 2039 Registered: Jul-05 | how much room do u have to work with? its hard to make a box for 4 15s that isnt at least 10cuft after displacment. if u have a good 10-15 cubes to work with id do the 4, if not make a big box for 2. |

Gold Member Username: CenusOhio Post Number: 3733 Registered: Jan-05 | if you can fit it 4 35's more cone area should be louder, but have you also consider 2 9518? i think DD makes 18's in the 95 series would require less box space and still be very loud. |
Silver Member Username: Mark8722 Type X 12s, Hughes S..., Texas Post Number: 128 Registered: Jul-07 | yea i thought about 2 18's but i also wasnt sure if they made a 9518 |

Gold Member Username: CenusOhio Post Number: 3734 Registered: Jan-05 | have you heared of the IA death penalty 21inch sub? i'd look into them. one with 3200wrms and a nice low tuned box would be insane. i don't think there out yet but i know some one did a test with one 12 and was doign 149 with it so the 21 should be in the 150's easy in a good setup. |

But rob do you have any new vids of you system witht the gains turned up. I seen you vids when you first got them, but you said you had your gains were turned way down to break them in. |

I haven't made any new vid but it's still bumpin hard and once in a while I turn things up but I'm too lazy to make a vid. It's decently loud with the gain turned down anyhow.4 15s will rock your socks that's for sure. |
Gold Member Username: Nyyfan13Fi SSD USA Post Number: 6701 Registered: Jul-06 | hey rob, i know you got your subs from zac and probably got a good deal on them, but do you happen to know the price of a 3512? i just emailed a retailer in my area and he said its $450-$475 a pop.... |
Gold Member Username: InsearchofbassPost Number: 6932 Registered: Jun-04 | id go with two 9515's with that power Mark id expect a 1 to 2 db gain over two of the 3515's on the same power so adding two more 3512's would only add 3 db theoretically with the 9515's at a 1 to 2 db loss over four 3515's...if the four 3515's were set up right |

DD isn't exactly cheap. That is ballpark but you shouldn't pay more than 400 IMO.If it comes down to it you can find a 3512 online and eat shipping and be somewhat lower than the price you were given. It's nice to get it through a local dealer so that way you can have a better warranty situation if it ever arises. |
Gold Member Username: Nyyfan13Fi SSD USA Post Number: 6704 Registered: Jul-06 | i thought they were around $400....the 475 caught me off guard tho |
Silver Member Username: Mark8722 Type X 12s, Hughes S..., Texas Post Number: 131 Registered: Jul-07 | Yea i didnt know exactly how much they were but i figured they be around 400 to 500 a pop for the 3515's..but i just got a new job so its not a big deal. i plan on spendin around 4k with the setup and electrical upgrades. but thats if i get a tahoe or somthin, been lookin at the 08 altima coupes too....now thats gonna be a different story |
Gold Member Username: CenusOhio Post Number: 3741 Registered: Jan-05 | mark check out IA audio, they make the death penalty its a badazz sub, as i statsed before it comes in 12/15/18 and 21 inch its a beast and its cheaper than DD. http://www.incriminatoraudio.com/ |
Gold Member Username: Th3pwn3rPost Number:... Post Number: 5521 Registered: Jul-06 | Stop with the IA audio subs lol.He was set on DD so don't try to change his mind. |
Gold Member Username: JkidderGunshine , State Flawda Post Number: 2378 Registered: Nov-05 | as an owner of both the older series death penalty and the 35 i'd go with whatever one u can get cheaper. ia def handles more lows but dd seems to be much tighter bass. |
