2 amps, one sub??

2 of the exact same amps on one sub with dual voice coils

say i have 2 500W RMS amp ( @2ohm) and i wanna run a 1000W rms sub. Will the sub ahve to be dual 2 ohm or dual 4 ohm and how would u wire it to run at 2 ohm??

dual 2 .. and make sure you gain match the amps or you can damage the sub

best bet is running amps you can strap, or just one 1000rms amp

You can run one amp per coil but you have to make sure the outputs of the amplifiers are equal.Strapping is the only way I'd recommend putting more than one amplifier to a subwoofer.I've known people that have done it and not had set things properly on the amps and they didn't have issues so...

there is ...one way is run two crossovers with subwoofer filtering or run two amps with a passive crossover (meaning a coil) hooked up inline with the two amps...you could also do a rca with y splits but that would cut your signal bad

No need for Y splitters when most amps have RCA outputs that you can patch to the other amp's RCA inputs.
