Hello all.

I searched the archive but did not seem to find an answer.

I have downloaded the latest bin and placed it on my SD card in the 'code' directory that the pansat box created on the card.

However, I cannot seem to get it to load it. If I go to the directory and select it and press 'ok' nothing happens.

However if i do a backup and create a new bin file, i can reload that fin by pressing 'ok' and 'data restore'

am i missing a step here?

Loading the Pansat 3500SD with the SD card:

Make sure the 'Write Protect' slide switch is not set on lock on your SD card
Insert the SD card into the 3500 and select 'SD Memory' from menu.
This will create three folders on the card: Code Backup, Channel Data, and MP3.

1. Remove the SD card from the receiver and place it in your PC's card reader.
2. Locate and copy the latest BL bin that you have downloaded and unzipped. The file must be unzipped.
3. Locate the removable disk (SD card) on your PC.
4. Open 'Code Backup' on the card and paste the latest BL bin to it.
5. Close all folders and remove the SD card from your PC. Place the SD card into the 3500SD card reader. Note your 3500SD should still be in the Main Menu. Highlight "SD memory" and select OK.
6. Highlight "Code Backup" and select OK
7. Highlight Latest BL bin and select OK.
8. You will get a Data Restore prompt to confirm. Highlight "Yes" and press OK.

You will get a Flash Upgrade screen. This won't take long. Flashing with the SD card is much quicker than with the RS232C Null modem cable.
The STATE will change to "WRITING" and the 3500SD will reboot itself. You must wait for it to reboot. Do not turn the power off. Wait....
After the receiver reboots, it will return back to the Language Menu unless you have already scanned channels into your 3500SD in which case it will go to the last channel it was on.
