I was looking at buying a component set in the 300 dollar range. I've heard a lot about rainbows, but are the cheaper models really the best buy for 300?

I'm talking about something like the cheap Germaniums

or the SLC 265

or is there a better deal for 300 dollars out there? MB Quart, Focals, etc.

I currrenly have an infinity amp, that puts out about 90rms x 2. I want to power the SLC speakers to their full potential though, should I buy a better amp? which one?

im running the slc tweets with 150rmsx2 and it drives them really nice 90 probably wont be bad worst comes to worse you want more power and buy a new amp. but i dont think that will be they case.
