Tuesday, September 25, 2007 - 01:33 GMT what size alt should i get to run a 2600wrms system. i did have a 200 amp in my grand am but it didnt work that great.im geting a 03 monte carlo, do they make anything larger than a 200 amp alternator for those cars?? anymore suggestions??

Tuesday, September 25, 2007 - 02:26 GMT The biggest you can get. 200 amp should work though. I'm running a 3000 watt amp on a 200 amp alt and a 1500 amp Odyssey battery. Works good.

Tuesday, September 25, 2007 - 02:54 GMT well i had 200 amp in my grand am with 2 optima batteries. the voltage dropped really bad. does it have anything to do with what kind of car? i know grand ams are kinda poor quality.
