has like no airspace can it still produce bass...I'm thinkin about doin soemthin with my atomic manhattan behind my bigger box bc i have a lot of space but its kinda sealed off...idk i was just wondering, maybe puttin it on a switch so i could either have the small 10 or the 12s

I am assuming you mean that if it has very little air space to play with as if there is no air then there is no sound produced. With a very small box (assuming sealed) you would be over dampening the sub which is fine but you will need allot of power to get volume out of it. I suppose it would be fine for a "normal" person but dont expect allot of output.

thats fine, the atomic is rated at 250 and id be givin it 450 at 4 ohms, would it still make bass do you think? bc i dont want it like sittin on my 2nd row haha.....idk im just bored and thoughts run across my mind
