I saw that thread AV but for people too scared to try a jtag or for clones, I think you'll need to repost the serial cable conversion.

Looks like demand is up again after a break of a couple of days.

Abby,

That's not a JTAG file. It's a serial port conversion.

My bad AV. To tell you the truth, I barely looked at the details after I saw it was not for 2500 clones.

Thanks for setting me straight.

Conversion is the only way to go - otherwise the 2500 is as dead as a doornail. WTF wants to look for and then enter keys every 10 minutes in the middle of a good movie.

That's not what FTA is all about.

That's because DN wants to make life difficult for us but now that you've converted, you are not supposed to be having that problem.

What's the bin you're using? I'd suggest the jvvh_211_pwTd bin or, if you watch GC, the jvvh_213_Td bin.

Try hitting Write Bin on your loader a few seconds BEFORE turning on your box.

The original NO Jtag files work on BOTH genuine 2500 receivers and Clones...no need to reinvent the wheel..

Thats an old redundant post already available on 100 DSS sites...useless info for anybody who has read for 2 minutes here...post something new and creative rather than an OLD copy/paste...
