(the vertical one).. what should i do first..move it up vertically a little and fix that and then turn sideways till i get the signal.. i know its kinda dumb to do it blindly..but for now thats my only choice!! |

Silver Member Username: NbnPost Number: 251 Registered: Aug-07 | up first then scan the sky with a left to right , if you miss it drop the angle up or down 1 degree and scan left to right again. you can hit every sat this way in about 3 minutes |
Gold Member Username: TapemanNew York City in-HD, NY Post Number: 1463 Registered: Oct-06 | So I take this as Yo don't want both at same time No need for tools Many receivers got the beep option if yo can turn beep option on If want run single 91 yo turn pole slightly towards west (It is what I call clockwise). Elevation also slightly. Elevation: If yo are on east cost 82 to 91 yo move down If on West cost 82 to 91 yo move up But it is better to calculate it http://www.kusat.com/install/calculator2.php |
Bronze Member Username: Vhl71Post Number: 65 Registered: Jan-07 | thanx i need only one 91 as i don't have dual lnb at present. i'm on the east coast so i need to move down then. can i just loosen the screw and move the dish only? Also I cant get this calc..it says azimuth 183.76 elv 39.62 for 82 which i have right now.. all i see without the compass is the angle scale on the bracket which is at 50right now.. how do i exactly position my dish in azimuth 183.76 and 39.62 |

It is not hard. If there is no luck bring it back on marker line step and repeat. What receiver do yo have? |
