Confused on high sub notes????

ok when the high bass hits it really doesnt hit hard. is there anything wrong with subs or should i just get some mid-bass speakers or highs for the car

Get some mids. You really should cross over around 60hz.

Some cars peak higher than 60hz though.I doubt you're worried about such a high note though i Luv bass.Like Troy said get some midbass speakers.

cool thanks but what are some good mids in this case and should i get them to fit in my stock spots or should i make some boxes for them and put them next to my subs

that depends on what you want to spend man. honestly it goes HU, speakers, amps (alternators and batteries), then subs. until u have a little taste of everything nothing will sound "good".

in your case i would get a good set of 2 ways (if you want to spend under 500 including amp) or 3 ways (over 500). a good 2 way will sound better than a crappy 3 way. but a good 3 way will sound better than an above average *better* 2 way with the right install.
