i think he said you should put the port facing back. as do i, this will reduce, if any, the port noise. also put the subs facing up.

i dont get port noise so ill do it like that when i make my new plexi glass box getting the tools and glass this weekend and building next weekend imma take pics

Plexi is VERY expensive. This is where I bought my plexi from on my last box.

i worked at lowes for almost 2 years thier to damn expensive trust me u will drop nearly 400 there plus they don't have thick stuff.

Crap because i hate ordering off the internet. And also i forgot the equation for finding how much product i need after my plans. Just so i dont over order the plexi glass.

Actually if you sit and do the math when you order the plexi you can save yourself the hassles of cutting it yourself. Their cuts are razor perfect and it's all downhill after that. No waste means you're not paying for product you don't use. It truly is that expensive.

Use the Professional plastics link above and use the cut to size calculator. Their tolerances are .125" so just round out your box dimensions to that. No splintered edges and clean sharp cuts. You'll see how expensive it is when you input the sizes and get the cost.


For example a 3/4" thick piece cut to 12 1/4 X 36 3/4" is $100.50. Each!
