I have a 4dr colorado and took out the back seat and have 2 of the 9510-44's (going for 1 ohm wiring)(750w rms/ 1500w max each)and was wondering what amp would be good? I am planning for 2 spl boxes with a single seat in the middle, a lil bigger than spec to compensate for the polyfill to help with the low lows. I know car audio but Im far from an expert so I would like to know how I can make this the best that it can be.

deck: alpine cda=7998
mtx 8000 components in front
mtx coaxials in back doors for now
alpine amp on highs

thanks in advance

polyfill makes the box appear larger to the sub as long as you dont over stuff it

so I should use it and compensate by making the box slightly larger? how do you overstuff a box? this will be my first experience with polyfill... what is a good place to get polyfill?

thanks for the info

Heres an in depth study......you can buy it at walmart

or

you can mke the box the right size but I feel polyfill helps the sub sound better also
