I input the keys manually in Nagravision2 and echo 8 (DN) is working fine but when switching to echo 7 I get no signal. I used to have both til about a week ago.

Are there different keys for echo 7 that I need to input? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

All DN sats use the same keys!...I suspect U have either

incorrect receiver antenna settings...most likely
bad cable or connection
bad switch, if using one
dish has moved slightly
bad LNB port, change to other port on the 119 echo7 LNB
or simply need to REBOOT the receiver OFF for 2 minute, then ON, using the REAR switch

U must do a process of elimination yourself....good luck...start with the REBOOT, and then do the esiest things first

Thank you everyone. I'll try your suggestions when I get home this evening. Although I did couple of scans But not the blind one. Hope it works.

same thing happened to me...try going into menu, installation, satelllite, diseqc, and play around with the numbers...dont put the same number for both satellite...try echo 8 as 1 and echo 7 as 2.

LK - when you say "incorrect receiver antenna settings...most likely" I am not sure if you are implying that I may have changed the settings. When the keys changed last week the only thing I did was to input the new keys. I got echo 8 but never echo 7. I never messed around with any other settings.

Joe Bob - I tried your suggestion and switched the diseqc numbr between echo 8 and echo 7. Unfortunatley, it did not work. But I noticed that when I go to echo 7 "quality" symbol is zero but echo 8 is almost full.

One other question, How can I verify from my Pansat 2700a which BIN it has?

Thanks.

Ray
Pull up Installation, scroll to System Information (press OK)

For Echo 7 try this, Antenna Setup
Scroll to TP Scan (press OK)
Scroll to Echo 7 (press OK)
Now scroll down on these TPs one by one
and keep one good eye on the Quality Bar
When you see 50% or better on the Quality Bar (press OK)
After you have going through all of these TPs and nothing came up, check the wire for Echo 7 from the LNB to the switch.
