really now,is that a fact....good thing i have the latest bin on the pansat, but the keys don't roll so i usually get them off of the viewsat, which also has the latest bin on it and it does roll...however on occasion the viewsat will give me a message on a few channels that says....searching for signal....then off i run into the next room and that channel and all others are working on the pansat...now that happens only on occasion so i was just wondering if there might be someone on this site that understands english and perhaps might know why this happens ,,,on occasion....anyone? who understands english.....i have one dish with a double outlet thingy on the lnb and the cables are exactly the same length.....
I have had the same problem on VS Extreme and FLU..with dual lnbs for echo7,8/10..when the FLU is on a echo7 channel a few echo8/10 channels will be searching for signal mode on the Extreme..and vice versa but not as frequent..PPVs fair well and it does not occur when the machines are on those channels..but channels that commonly had the searching problem were like 121,185,323,500 etc..323 was a strange one cuz if it occured on 323, NasaTV phases in on Showtime without a physical channel change..I have tried changing switches, connectors, using 22khz on one machine..with no luck..the only way that I got around that was to turn off the FLU, then the Extreme was fine..I do not know what causes that but I think that there is a voltage issue in my setup somewhere but I just cannot find it..
Sorry BOR I was really not trying to be a smarty!! Maybe an easy fix would be to use two dishes. I have 2 boxes with their own dishes and I could picture not having your problem. I found my second dish at a flea market for $5.00 . Good Luck!!
thanx you guys...i have tried the tp thing and all the rest but it doesn't help...could it be the weather...i'm in sask ,18 in dish, its a long way to the gulf of mexico...could it be ?
