When you install 294T BIN you will find that the date is set to 01/01/2006 and the time i set to midnight Pacific time. all the autoroll features will have been turned on. You should go into user settings and change the date, time and time zone. Then switch it off at back and turn it on again. Wait about a minute for keys to roll in and don't be impatient. The picture will come in without any further effort on your part, because the BIN does not do anything to your scans. |

THE NEW PANSAT 2500 AND CLONE BINS (294 AND 294T) DO NOT HAVE GLOBECAST ENCRYPTION DUE TO THE LIMITED MEMORY IN THOSE RECEIVERS...AND THERE WILL NOT BE GLOBECAST (GC) IN ANY 2500 OR CLONE FOR A VERY LONG TIME, IF EVER! If U want Globecast U will need to upgrade to a newer Pansat and bins which do have the GC encrypted codes..and some other receiver companies may have them too soon.. If U ever do upgrade to another Pansat, here's how ya change the keys manually... Press 8282 while viewing a channel or go parental control....2nd pin....nagra 2.. Once in the nagra2 menu go to the C101 provider ID and enter keys |

As is, it will work fine with Bin 294T. LK is promoting this US dealer so he can get a commission. By the time you consider the strength of Canadian dollar and the shipping costs, etc., you are better off buying from a reputable dealer in Montreal or Quebec. Up ontill this new bin ( 294T ) came out, i was using 292T (with key changes) but it did/does work still. I just got this new bin for the auto roll. Its not worth converting a (FLU) they are soon to be worthless door stops anyway. Buy a newer receiver from whome ever you want to and have fun with it. But please read any info on a newer receiver that you can get your hands on and learn all about it with INFO FILES, VIDEO FILES ....etc |

Therefore, the proposed or predicted obsolescence of the whole Pansat 2500 and clone family is strictly not correct. The 294T is working fine on clones. |

Bronze Member Username: PsychmonsterChi town, Il USA Post Number: 70 Registered: Jul-06 | Lk is right about the 2500 conversion...you need a dump file that has been specifically written for the 1 mg chip of the 2500 and only one or two peps have written it or added to it and once burned, you must jtag every new bin update, still highly experimental but have heard it works & executes even faster than BL's bins..one way or another, either you may have to upgrade to a 2mg chip and then erase and burn the factory 2700 bin and then write the BL 2700 bins or do this experimental 1 mg dump bin file to continue with the 2500 for the near future..check out this great site for some incredible insights and downloads on how to do this conversion, but at your own risk !! |

Platinum Member Username: LklivesPost Number: 11138 Registered: Jan-06 | Thats the correct loader, BL v 1.4...upload an older bin...be persistent...U can even upload the factory Pansat 222 or 224 bins... get the loader ready and select the bin...shut off receiver with rear switch...then c click on "write bin" and immediately turn ON receiver with rear switch...its all about "timimg"... BTW...make sure U have the straight cable and good and tight connections.. |

You should turn autoroll off and enter keys manually. You will probably need to change the first number in key 00 and key 01.
