You can fix it by adding or subtracting according to this talbe: 0=0 1=1 2=2 3=3 4=4 5=5 6=6 7=7 8=8 9=9 A=10 B=11 C=12 D=13 E=14 F=15 Just remember to first turn on the autoroll options in order for the new key to roll. Usually its a minute after you turn it on. Change the first digit. If it is 0 thru 7, add 8. If its 8 thru F, subtract 8. And remember to turn OFF autoroll options after changing the key, since DN is morphing every 2 minutes the first digit. |

You can also input the key if you get it from the web posts without turning autoroll on, but its faster when you do it the other way. and as soon as there is an autoroll fix, try to install it. If you want to know the exact thing that is happening, it is like this. The top bit i.e. bit 7 (in 0 origin nomenclature of 0-7 bits) of the first byte in each key is being inverted. The new BINs for a majority of receivers have a fix but eh Pansat 2500A (and its clones) fix is not out yet. Because it is so simple, I am very hopeful that it will be out soon. |

As soon as keys rolls, I turn my Autoroll on and let me keys roll by themselves. After they have rolled, turn the autoroll function off, and then use this system of adding or subtracting 8 from the first digit. This way you don't even have to look for keys online..it's great.. thanks a lot for telling about this...appreciate all the help and hopefully more ppl will try using it.. I been using it since yesterday and I have my TV up and running in less than 2 minutes.. |
