Sunday, August 05, 2007 - 20:15 GMT I recently fixed a box for my friends 2 15s (sealed it up and other stuff) I hooked them up to the amp, and to my suprise one was hitting alot harder than the other one was. Is a voice coil out? or could there be something else that i dont know about. Thanks in advance

Wednesday, August 08, 2007 - 04:08 GMT Tennessee, JK the sub isnt locked up, i think its not taking enough power, the voice coils seem in good shape they dont smell burnt. The only type of machine is an ohm meter would i need to use that would that help. I just wish i could get em workin

Wednesday, August 08, 2007 - 04:25 GMT Ok i think i found the problem. I run a meter to it tested all voice coils on the first and the second and the one that isnt hitting right one of the voice coils showed no activity. IS there any wya to fix this or is just a dead sub?

Wednesday, August 08, 2007 - 04:53 GMT The memphis with the bad VC, could i wire it to just run off of one. I know its not good for them but would it work. Wire the one sub that works to equal 4ohm. So it equals the other? or is there anyway to fix the VC?
