^x2 or 3. I'd only get the BL if you plan on selling those amps and getting more power. You could put around 2000 watts to a loaded bl, and over 1k to an ssd. It's your choice. The fi Q seems to be the perfect match, but if you're more into spl consider the other options. The Qs would sound very nice though.
Answer to the question: They'll do good, but I'd take the SSDs on that amount of power. Want to go bigger? Get bigger amps to match.
Hope it works out.

6 in one, half dozen in the other. they are VERY similar woofers. if i had to distinguish, the sx is a LITTLE more spl, and the ssd is a LITTLE more sq. ssd will hit a LITTLE lower.

you have to realize that the same guy built both the woofers for the same purpose.

sx prolly looks cooler

wrong SX > SSD

and mark...stick with the ssd's, you don't have enough power for the sx or the bl's

they can take 1000w easily though so you don't really need to get bp or flatwind imo

alright thx alot guys! Im probably about to order them right now. Now just one more question. Is this gonna be well worth gettin the SSD's over the X's or is there not gonna be THAT much of a difference?

DUDE WTF, if your getting two subs, you want to get Dual 2, not dual 1!!!!!. But if your going to buy one sub, then its dual 1 or dual 4 if it comes in D4.

2 subs, dual 2 + dual 2 = 2ohm load!!!! Which is what you need.

Wire each dual 2 sub in series, 4 and 4, then wire them in parallel, and you get a 2ohm load.

hold one sec.....
you have 2 amps? your getting one ssd for each amp correct?
ssd A to alpine amp A and then ssd B to alpine amp B is what your doing right?
both amps do 1000rms @ 2 ohms?
wouldnt you want 2 dual 1 ohm ssd's? so you could wire each sub to a 2 ohm load on each amp?
or did i misread something....which is probably the case lol

Yanks and Ryan are right he has two amps so he will want dual 1 so he can wire each sub to an amp at two ohms. I guess Berny and Rob missed the part of two amps.
