The Alpha V.2s have taken off with excellent reveiws. The Alphas go LOOOOW my personal truck has 3 15" tuned to 32hz on two rd1750.1 @ 1.3 ohm strapped putting out 4500 watts RMS with my dual alts and i play music in the low 30's driving around between 149-150db. When i put a 5750 on them it was too much for me personally. Im not sure how many people drive around at 149db @ 30 something hz but its alot. Headaches are a norm. I am going to get them metered with two 3250's to see what they do. We got a guy thats putting 8k to a single 12" for bassrace and it has held up. They are not your regular subwoofer. The new design has paid off. That extra 8 lbs in the new t-yoke has help with magnet flux and damping and cooling. Alot of companies use small t-yoke and more magnet because of the cost of metal. the new coil and everything else have made the Alpha even better then the first one by far. The first one got loud and had very good SQ. But like i said i know if Loagan runs 3 15" Sonance then the whole forum will see pictures and Vids and people will know what they can do. Thanks |
