Ok this never happened to me ever before. i have a pioneer premier deh-780mp and i got a 15" cvx i was driving around and it worked great for a day then the next day i was driving around and put the volume up the 50 and it plays good for like a cpl min then the cd player volume completly cuts out but the subwoofer still hits every note along wit the beat of the song and then when u turn it back down the volume comes back on a little bit then cpl min again it does it again volume just cuts out but sub still plays along wit the beat.

Sounds like a problem with the Head unit's internal amplifier if you're using it.

sounds like a overload on the internal amp leading to over heating then bam it cuts out to prevent damage.

ahh i bet ur clippin the fugg out of those speakers. i've beat the eff out of pioneer units were talkin at 50 - 62 max like everyday for over a year and a half plus pu it in my other car and i even sent it in under warrenty before the install to have it tested and everything still checked out like new. could be u just don't have the power to crank it. i missed the part that u were crankin the hell out of it at 50.
