Solo Xs do not break easily.Mine has been running without a hiccup for a while.They break when they are fed more than their reccomened RMS or are installed in enclosures that are crazy.That's when they break.They are durable subs and if you had ever used one or owned one you would know that yourself.I wish I could say the same about L5s and L7s now those things do break easily and that is known.You have to be a very responsible user when playing with those subs.A Solo X takes a hell of a beating though. |

Post Number: 3691 Registered: Jul-06 | Yea...the L5 and L7 aren't durable and don't like being abused at all.The Solo X handles abuse like a champ until you see guys throwing over 5k rms at them.Thats when you see broken cones(Prior to 2007 model cones) and blown VCs. |
