I have a couple newbie questions, I just got the onkyo 760 and am trying to match up cables but it's getting alittle confusing. My first question is in regards to speaker wire itself. I bough 100' of high quality speaker wire from lowes and it comes with 2 copper wires in-cased. On the setup diagram it shows it shows a + and - wire, I'm only guessing but since my wores have no color that is only to tell you to keep the one end that you put in the + clip on the speaker to put the the corresponding other end in the + side of the reciever? I think i'm making this alittle too hard.
Thats all for now I'll post more if I get them, thanks for any help.

Yes that would be right. Make sure the polarity matches. Use the + for red and the - for black on your speakers.

Hi Warder,
There should be some sort of lettering on the positive cable's insulation. If there isn't, I'd go and get some. You do not want to mess this crucial step up believe me. The other thing is you don't want to go cheap on cables. You have yourself a fine receiver and deserves the best.
