I know it is simple enough but is the face locking in correctly. I had a problem with my Clarion not locking. I fixed the mechanism and it has not given me a problem since. If thats not it than maybe it is the connection from the face to the unit itself. Not sure. I am sure one of the more knowledgeable gentlemen will help you. I enjoy Pioneer head units. Excellent sound production.

check the contacts that press against the flip face on the inside and just bend them a little bit to make contact. keep in mind i'm not rliable for your actions but that should fix it.

Well I pressed in the face plate a little and got it working for a second but now it doesnt work again. Im sure the problem is that its not making contact but what can I do to fix that? what part are you talking about that I should bend?

if you just bought it, and bought it new from a shop/store, you should be able to take it back and do an exchange
