i just got a flip up indash and was wondering where the parking brake swicth acually hooks too. i have a 98 jeep cheroke sport. i know the bypass code for my unit but need to hook it up to the switch.
On some units you can just ground that wire and thats the end of it, it thinks the parking brake is always on.
On others it makes you put the brake on and off a few times to unlock the unit....... if yours is like that, you would need to install a switch in the line to ground, so you could flick it on and off to unlock the unit whenever you wanted.
