I have recently purchased a BOSE IV Accousticmass 10 home theater system which has 2 front, 2 rear and 1 center speaker. I am planning to buy an ONKYO TX-SR 504 receiver to feed into BOSE.
I want to play mp3 songs from my laptop on the BOSE thru the onkyo receiver. After reading thru the forum messages, I understand that I need to use a Y adaptor RCA coaxial cable, one end of which will go in the output of soundcard and other RCA will go to the Onkyo receiver which is about 200$-300$. Would ONKYO be the right choice or any cheaper receiver would do it for me?
Am i getting it correct or someone would suggest me something else?
