^^^^^ Ummm yeah, 1000 watts won't be enough power for two 500 watt subs
(I assume he has two)
Massive audio is OK, not anything great but they are a decent brand. They don't quite put out their rated power sometimes, but close to it. So yeah that amp will be fine.
