Other than setting your gains on your amp, you won't have to touch it. Everything can be adjusted strait from the HU. You will be very happy with the features it offers. I actually got mine from millionbuy for $303 shipped I believe. But that Hifiaduio place I believe sells them too, and I was very happy with my purchase from them on the wire, so you may want to check them out. And I also believe they were selling 880's for $275 shipped. I can't speak for the HU's they sell since I just bought wiring from them, but if it's a brand new 880 that is a great price.
