Wednesday, June 06, 2007 - 19:30 GMT ^^^ Yep, it stands for Aperiodic Bi Chambered. It is basically a bandpass design with two chambers that are tuned to different resonant frequencies.

Thursday, June 07, 2007 - 16:30 GMT How are the calculations figured on an ABC box? Website link? Looks like an interesting way to maximize output from a smaller sub.

Thursday, June 07, 2007 - 16:49 GMT you run the specs on a box builing program one with the large chamber tuning and one wit the small chamber tuning using identical port lengths like if your port tune is a 4 inch port 12 deep for 36 hz first chamber to the outside then you would want a 4 inch 12 inches long between chamber one and two inside the box evenly positioned if possible then a 4 inch port in the second chamber 12 inhes long to the outside whic might give you a 62 hz port tune You subs go in the large chamber (account for airspace taken up for subs) The large chamber is whatever space you want for the subs and the second chamber is 33 percent of that size

Thursday, June 07, 2007 - 16:56 GMT ideally if you want a tuning diferent in the small chamber I theorize that if you go from say one 4 inch to two 2 inches it will keep the port area the same but help change your second chamber tuning point which means your length may change from the rest but I see no rason why it wouldnt work...thats my one change....plus being abl to add poly inside the internal port to adjust tuning I would just remove the sub or sub to get to it and put it back in when done

Thursday, June 07, 2007 - 16:58 GMT obviously if you run a program for one sub you want to double the airspace if your placing two in the box
