Sunday, June 03, 2007 - 18:14 GMT I recently just built a box for one of my buddies for 2 Infinity Reference 1252 12" subs. This was my first attempt at building a box so don't flame too much. Didn't have a router so the sub holes aren't perfectly round, but the subs fit well in them. I don't have any other pics right now, but I will take a pic of the final product soon.

Sunday, June 03, 2007 - 18:25 GMT My first box: second box: third box: fourth box: As you can see, the holes improve the more you do it. I find the best way is to take it slow, 1/4 or less of the circle at a time and shine a light right on the line and go very slow. Patience was key for me. Good luck bro, and looks great!

Sunday, June 03, 2007 - 18:35 GMT logan, jigsaw FTW! I saw something advertised in parts express catalogue that was like a little disc you put on the bottom of a router and it allows you to establish a center point and adjust a radius arm to make perfect circles every time in like 10 seconds. It looked sweet, but not $60 sweet + cost of a router.

Sunday, June 03, 2007 - 18:44 GMT They make jigs for routers or you can make a jig for them out of plywood for easy circles. I have several routers but choose the jig saw as well. I would rethink those port sizes Corey. That baby is going to whistle something fierce.

Sunday, June 03, 2007 - 18:51 GMT Also, maybe my eyes are wacked out but those sub holes appear larger than 12". Just asking, it looks like you chambered off the ports. Is that correct?

Sunday, June 03, 2007 - 19:05 GMT lol they look bigger to me as well. Corey how big did you cut those holes to? The cutouts for a 12" sub should be about 11", i hope you didnt do 12.

Sunday, June 03, 2007 - 19:27 GMT Good enough. Now it looks like you attached an interior piece to seperate the subs from the ports. You can see the screw holes just to the right of the port holes. Is that right? If not I guess I'm just having a bad day.

Sunday, June 03, 2007 - 19:30 GMT You are correct Paul, but they are not completely separated. That piece comes about 2" from the back wall.
