ok, so i've been on the same problem for awhile now and the original thread is long gone. i've also came across some new developments so a new thread it is.
now to the problem. my electrical is f'd up. for no apparent reason, while i'm driving my charging system will drop to 12.xV (according to my voltmeter via directly my batt, which is definitely accurate)
i can use an electric device (window, sunroof) while its at 12.xV, and it will jump back up to 14.xV for like 10sec, only to jump back down again...
i've also found out if i'm going ~50mph+, or when i completely let off the gas and coast in any gear (my car is manual) it stays at 14.xV...
already have however its killing my pockets since i already have a few excuses to upgrade my brakes and replace my exhaust... then i need a wheel bearing on top of that
i'll pop the hood and take a look at it/snap a few pics later. its raining...
Who needs brakes or exhaust. Just cut off your muffler, and the get the HO alt. Then people will hear the straight piped engine + bangin sound system and know to get out the way since you can't stop.
