Ok, I'm debating on whether to buy 2 FI BL's 12", or 1 RE XXX 12", or 1 SoloX 10" or 12". I putting them in my Camaro. The only thing is that the XXX is 510.00, not including shipping on ebay. Please help me decide which subs to get. I want to bump like hell, so.... also if you have any other suggestions please let me know. Thanks!
ho alt, new battery in front, probably at least another in the back, big 3 done. depending on car, size of ho alt. and where you buy it from, i'd say about $1000.
if you don't want to upgrade your car electricals, you might want to consider doing 1 bl 12 with 1000wrms. it would still get loud. although even with 1000wrms i would suggest getting a ho alt, you can still get by.
I will bet anything that you don't have the power needed for SoloX(s) (and they sound like crap anyways so toss that out)
You will need an HO alternator to run more than ~1000 watts usually. They cost ~$500 for most cars.
Go with the 2 BLS if you are upgrading the electrical system, with a 2000+ watts amp. Otherwise go with the XXX or 1 BL with a 1000+ watts amp. XXX if you want more SQ, BL if you want more SPL.
