Now my question does that mean each VC handles 400w or does it mean in total so each only takes 200w? So would I need an 800w amp or a 1600w amp to fully power 2 of these beasts? |

" Yes " In which case a 4 channel 800w amp would power 2 of them perfectly? " Right about the 800 watts, wrong on the amp type. You want a mono a.k.a. class D amp for subwoofers. The amp needs to do 800 watts at whatever impedance (ohm load) the subs will be wired to. (possible wiring configs depends on what ohms the coils are). |
