I am going to build and carpet a single sub enclosure and try the flared port. I am thinking maybe 1.75 Cubes @ 32Hz. If anyone is interested in this, let me know, or if you would have different volume or frequency recommendations let me know, because I will take pix and put it up for sale when completed.

Around 6 I believe. 5 Sheets of MDF. I've sold them locally, and I enjoy building them for as a hobby. I thought this might be a good thing to do this summer and make some extra money.

I dont have many pictures of my old boxes that I've made, but I figured I'd build a single flared enclosure, take many pictures, and see is people like them. I am interested in Engineering and have taken several classes. I enjoy figuring out calculations and sketching up blueprints. I can post some of those if anyone is interested.

Izac Weiler, hes not a member, he said he just read a lot on here and it helped him to pick out his system. He said there were some good box builders on here too, so I thought I would check it out. Please fill me in, I'm truly lost.

I started on a box earlier 1.25 cubes @ 32Hz. Would you be interested in one like this? I can do this one + carpet for $100 shipped. Mind I ask where you live so I can get a shipping quote.

Steinkea, I dont have any pix on file, but if you want, I can go ahead and build this box, take pix along the way, and show you the finished product. And if you like it, its yours, if not, I'll just throw it up for sale.

I found one pix. I built this box for a friend of mine, and he carpeted it himself, and took this pic. It doesnt have the greatest quality, but this was the only one I could find.

Look at the port, it looks kinda $h!tty, but that was cuz my friend used an outdoor patio mat from menards and it was his first time carpeting a box lol, I can assure you that port looked good at one time lol.

http://www.mach5audio.com/index-2.html

my max dims are
40" <->
11" deep
24" tall
sub has to be on one of the large sides. double baffle. if you're going to subtract from any of the dims take from the height (max is 24"). tune it 30-35hz. anything else hit me up at camrennie@shaw.ca

when i said hook me up i meant for free. let me know shipping to v8p 2k7. i'll pay that. once you prove you build quality boxes people will have faith in you and will know how far you were willing to go to prove you build a good product.

haha alright your decision. i figured it was worth a try. when you have no rep and no references, you need to do something drastic to convince people to buy something you made, sight unseen.

As I have said already, I am building a box tomorrow and am documenting it closely and taking several pictures. I just sent TWiZTiD blueprints for an HD3, but to take the time to build a box for free, loose money on it and sacrifice my labor... thats a bit much.
