Hello, I have had this head unit for about 3 years and it has shut down a few times for a day or so and then came back on. I shipped the car to Italy and even after having the battery disconnected it worked fine for about 6 months. It done it's shut down for a few days, came back and all was good for a few months then it shut down for good. It will open the face half way, as if you were putting a CD in and then nothing. I remove the face and the unit closes up. If I turn the car off before the face opens half way, it will rotate around and the face folds in like it's supposed to. When I turn the key back on, it opens, waits a minute or so and opens half way again and stops. I checked the wiring, which was a mess, installed connectors and it still won't power up. There is also a CD stuck in it. I don't have a manual or anything for it and it has never asked for any kind of code when it's done this. Any ides or help would be appreciated. Roy
